Gulf Airspace Gradually Reopens After Iranian Attack on Al Udeid Base in Qatar, اليوم الثلاثاء 24 يونيو 2025 12:44 صباحاً

Gulf countries have gradually restored air traffic to normal operations after a temporary halt caused by the Iranian attack on the US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. US officials are closely monitoring the situation, affirming that all necessary measures have been taken to protect forces and partners in the region, while expressing hope to avoid further escalation.

Both Kuwait and Bahrain announced the reopening of their airspace after a brief closure due to recent security developments. Meanwhile, Dubai airports resumed full operations on Monday evening, according to the Dubai Government Media Office.

The Dubai office stated that the safety and comfort of passengers and flight crews remain top priorities, noting that some flights may experience delays or cancellations. Travelers are advised to stay updated through their respective airlines.

Earlier today, Qatar, Bahrain, the UAE, Kuwait, and Iraq temporarily closed their airspace amid rising security tensions following the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s attack on the US Al Udeid Base in Qatar. The attack was in response to US strikes targeting nuclear facilities in Iran, raising regional fears of a wider escalation.
